Hometown, Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Veteran of the U.S. Army served combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.
BIG SARGE is very passionate about BBQ. Started out grilling for the family, family reunions and for Soldiers in my unit while deployed overseas and organizational days back stateside. Seeing everyone enjoying some good BBQ
He is a self-taught Grill/ Pitmaster, using skills, seasoning and sauce flavors he learned from watching Mother, Aunts and Grandmother in the kitchen growing up in the South.
Started BROOKS BBQ, in the family's name to continue the family tradition of serving Southern Style Barbecue and meals in Southern Alabama and Northwest Florida .
BIG SARGE BBQ will bring an Old School Military Style atmosphere of camaraderie and friendship while enjoying Good Food! Good Friends and Good Laughs .
